The Challenge
From the COVID-19 pandemic to growing socioeconomic struggles, U.S. adults are experiencing worsening mental illness from increasing chronic stress, reducing access to healthcare and social support, and increasing exposure to violence and neglect. Unfortunately, these can lead to struggles with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and chronic stress.
- Around 50 million Americans suffered from mental health issues, 55% of which never received mental health treatment. [Mental Health America, 2023]
- In 2023, there were an estimated 1.5M suicide attempts with 49,316 Americans dying by suicide. [American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, 2023]
- Among people in the US aged 18-44, psychosis spectrum and mood disorders account for nearly 600,000 hospitalizations each year. [Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project, 2023]

Our Steps to Recovery
In residential treatment, you will live on-site with around-the-clock care. This stage is the most intensive, focusing on uncovering and addressing the root causes of your mental health challenges. Every day, your schedule consists of 6 hours of intensive therapy. What you and our clinicians discover will be treated during this and future programs, helping you gain insight and freedom.
During partial hospitalization, you’ll work on building skills that retrain your brain’s reward system to cope without returning to unhealthy patterns. To support long-term health and wellness, you will learn delayed gratification—a skill that brings long-term rewards and a more fulfilling future.
In intensive outpatient, you’ll begin rebuilding your life. It’s a challenging and rewarding process, supported by mentorship, therapy, and a network of your peers. While staying at home, you’ll attend sessions at our outpatient facility 2-3 times a week to continue your recovery maintenance. Our flexible therapy sessions are designed to fit your schedule and responsibilities.
In this final stage, the focus is on balancing life and recovery. With support from your support network and recovery program, you’ve built a foundation to move forward. Outpatient care now focuses on what brings you joy, aligns with your values, and helps you reach your goals. We’re here to support and challenge you, encouraging growth as you work toward your aspirations.

Around 1 in 5 Americans report a potential need for behavioral health care for conditions like PTSD, depression, and anxiety disorders. As a dedicated behavioral health treatment provider, Aliya provides treatment for those struggling with mental health disorders.
Family therapy is a building block of our mental health programming. We facilitate in-person and virtual family therapy sessions for spouses, significant others, parents, children, and siblings. We strongly encourage participation in family therapy for loved ones who are able and healthy enough to have involvement in the treatment process.
Introducing the group therapy model early in treatment helps us to lay the groundwork for our patients to anticipate support from healthy, reciprocal relationships. We nurture this understanding throughout our programs. Building a network of support can provide you with connection, socialization, motivation, advice, relatability, interpersonal effectiveness, accountability, and much more.
We will help you build a strong recovery program. For those seeking mental health support, we connect them with our tight-knit alumni community as well as local NAMI Organizations for continued support following the completion of our residential and outpatient treatment programs.

Alumni Voices
"I’ve been to multiple mental health hospitals and I’ve never felt understood or safe like I do here. At this place the therapists actually listen and I feel like they genuinely care. At mental health hospitals I feel like I’m being punished for the way I am, but here they actually try to help me and it works. I’ve been here for 4 months and I am in a significantly better place mentally than I was when I came in."
"I have sought help in many places, and never received the level of treatment I have here. The therapists and their methods are incredible, advanced, and educated. They are caring and have helped me immensely. Also the staff, from the technicians to psychiatrists to case workers care on an individual level I have never experienced. I am incredibly grateful for this program and facility."
"Out of a decade of therapy they helped me heal from my mental wounds to an extent I previously thought impossible. All of the therapists I had were excellent and I was not used to the variable pathways and modalities of healing offered in a PHP or IOP setting."
"Coming in the front door is a wonderful, very pleasant receptionist who always greeted you as well as helpful when needed. While attending the support groups I found myself interested and engaging. I learned very useful information. My therapist was wonderful in the way that she listened and didn’t let me BS her which God knows I need. My case manager was very helpful and understanding of my shortcomings when it came to paperwork. He was very patient and made arrangements for rides for me to appointments. I was also impressed that the Manager there because he had an open door policy. I would highly recommend them to anybody."
