At Aliya Mental Health, we deeply value our relationships with healthcare professionals. We understand that referring a client for mental health or addiction treatment is a responsibility, and we are here to make the process clear, supportive, and effective—for you and for those you care about.
Who We Serve
We accept referrals from:
- Therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists
- Primary care providers and medical doctors
- Counselors, social workers, and case managers
- Hospitals, clinics, and community health agencies
- Employee assistance programs or any other professional with a client in need of specialized mental health or addiction treatment
We treat adults (18+) facing mental health disorders, substance use disorders, and dual diagnosis. Our referrals may involve patients whose primary concern is substance abuse with co-occurring mental health, or whose primary condition is mental health with accompanying substance challenges.
What Makes a Strong Referral
When referring a client, the more information we have, the better we can match them to the right program. Some helpful details include:
- Presenting issues: mental health diagnoses, substance use history, safety concerns
- Current level of care needed (e.g. outpatient, intensive outpatient, residential, detox)
- Insurance information: provider, plan, benefits, out-of-network vs in-network status
- Medical history & any medications
- Personal / environmental factors: support systems, living situation, trauma history, readiness for change
These help us craft a tailored care plan and ensure your client receives the most appropriate, compassionate treatment without delay.
Treatment Programs & Levels of Care
Aliya Mental Health offers a continuum of research-based treatment options, including:
- Medical Detoxification
- Residential Treatment
- Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP)
- Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)
- Outpatient Care
All programs integrate psychiatric care, therapy, holistic approaches (wellness, mindfulness, etc.), and robust aftercare supports. We treat co-occurring mental health and addiction issues comprehensively, rather than treating one apart from the other.
Our Referral Process
- Referral Submission
Complete our clinical referral form (online or via fax/email), including the client’s basic contact details, diagnoses, insurance, and presenting concerns. - Intake Assessment
Our clinical team reviews the referral, speaks with you (if needed) and with the client to assess needs, determine best facility/location, and the proper level of care. - Insurance & Financial Review
We verify insurance coverage and cost obligations (deductible, copay/coinsurance, out-of-network if applicable). You’ll get clarity so the client knows ahead of time what is expected financially. - Admission & Treatment Matching
Once intake and insurance are confirmed, the client is placed in the right program. We assign clinical staff, case managers, and begin the personalized treatment plan. - Ongoing Communication & Aftercare
With client consent, we provide updates on progress. When it’s time to transition out of a higher level of care, we ensure continuity—aftercare planning, referrals back to your care, and medication or therapy follow-ups.
